To further strengthen our team in the UK and Germany, we are currently looking for a remote Technical Development Manager Lubricants (m/f/d) based in the United Kingdom or Germany.

Your tasks

  • You provide technical advice and support to customers and Sales colleagues.
  • Maintaining close technical relationships with suppliers and external partners is a key part of your role.
  • In addition, you monitor market trends, technological developments, and competitor activities.
  • Working closely with Product Management, you provide technical expertise and market intelligence.
  • You manage and document technical projects and customer activities.
  • Another important aspect of the role is developing and delivering technical product trainings for internal stakeholders.
  • You represent the company at customer meetings, trade fairs, and industry events while supporting the resolution of technical product issues.

Your profile

  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
  • Proven technical knowledge and experience within the lubricants industry
  • A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
  • Highly organised, with excellent planning, prioritisation, and time-management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe applications
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business travel across Europe
