To further strengthen our team in the UK and Germany, we are currently looking for a remote Technical Development Manager Lubricants (m/f/d) based in the United Kingdom or Germany.
Your tasks
- You provide technical advice and support to customers and Sales colleagues.
- Maintaining close technical relationships with suppliers and external partners is a key part of your role.
- In addition, you monitor market trends, technological developments, and competitor activities.
- Working closely with Product Management, you provide technical expertise and market intelligence.
- You manage and document technical projects and customer activities.
- Another important aspect of the role is developing and delivering technical product trainings for internal stakeholders.
- You represent the company at customer meetings, trade fairs, and industry events while supporting the resolution of technical product issues.
Your profile
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
- Proven technical knowledge and experience within the lubricants industry
- A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Highly organised, with excellent planning, prioritisation, and time-management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe applications
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to undertake occasional business travel across Europe
